iPhone 4 cable to hook to BMW

Just got the new iphone, and its wearing the necessary "bumper". The cable that came with the car (in the center storage bin) doesnt seem to work with the new iphone... any suggestions? Do i have to take the bumper off each time? or does the 4th gen phone require a different chord?

Thanks!

Why did you buy a phone that has such a big design flaw as the iPhone 4 antenna ? You have a few days left to return it free of any charge...go buy a Nexus One and you will never look back !

I have the same issue with the bumper. I believe we'll have to dremel/sand out the main opening where the connector fits through. Horribly annoying but amendable I guess.

I dremel'd as much as I could around the charging port of the bumper and no luck. There's no way of plugging up the charger using the apple bumper.

Just got a different case (Griffen Reveal), and it works perfect.
