Anyone? I've tried searching - but I was unable to find any written DIY ones for this..
Thanks! |

This process is very simple and is explained in this How-To Video: Please note that the video is a little outdated. We've made a few improvements to the Procede/instructions that will actually make the installation process even easier: 1) There is no longer a remote mapswitching unit included with the Procede since mapswitching is done down with the DTC button on your dash. So this means you can ignore section 4'37" to 4'55" in the video. 2) All 4 subconnectors in the Procede harness share the same colors (2 black, 1 grey and 1 white) as the factory subconnectors they mate with. Before beginning to slide out the factory subconnectors from the DME connector, please take note of which subconnector goes where. its in here http://www.procedetuning.com/BMW/n54/howto/howto.html

Follow the youtube video to get to the ecu compartment.
Then use this little pic I created. I keep on my phone for my install and removals as quick reference. Enjoy Last edited by 2kaccordocoupe; 04-26-2013 at 11:11 AM.. |
