So... when can I upgrade my v4 to v5?!?

It's killing me reading all these threads about how awesome v5 is. I want in! What do I have to do to get it?

Simple. Go online to the vishnu website. Download newest Procede V5 maps, firmware and usersoftware. Connect computer to car and start update. If you need help or details of these steps search and you will find plenty of info.

You can download the latest maps and user software via the link below.

You'll find the 12/17 v5 maps as well as the latest 1/21 public beta maps. Much of the praise has been about the beta maps.

Thanks for the help guys. I got the software downloaded but can't go online. Says unable to open COM3. I tried all the COM addresses. Ignition is on and the USB is plugged into my laptop and my laptop recognizes a new device. What gives?

you need to check what COM your laptop is assigning to the cable and match it to the Procede list. Procede can only accept ports from 1-9 or 10 i think so if its higher it wont work and you need to reassign port.

in Control panel , hardware settings , perifericals usb admin. search because its all out there in the forum. EVERYTHING has already been answered before.

Yeah, I did search and found it. Thanks.

I did search for something else that I can't find though...

In the instructions .doc, it says

Thanks for being willing to help. I actually gave up for the night and put everything back together. Gotta get me a usb extension cord and route into the glove box!

I'm gonna hit up Shiv next time I open her back up, but thanks again everyone.
