Got tint done on my e90 LCI. Rolled my windows down and they scratched. The shop repaired it for no charge but they told me that most BMWs have the same scenario. They put moleskin in for my front windows and ever since I've had no issues. I highly reccomend it!

yeah my old e90 LCI had the same issue. This is about the e92. i got them done yesterday so I will see in a few day the results. the tint guy that did mine is the contractor for our local bmw dealership and he said the e92 does not experience the same issues as the e90.

Garage List
there was a diy guide on how to fix this problem somewhere i believe it was a guide on how to change the part where the window meets the door... from a rubber material to a softer material that doesnt give the window or tints scratches because i also have an e92 lci and my tints have scratches

Tints

I am looking at putting tints in my 3 series Coupe E92, just doing the back 3 windows but my car is in Silver and I am looking at putting medium smoked tints 80% - not sure if it will look to dark and boy racer looking!?
