I don't think there will be a huge difference powerwise between flash only vs BEF once both are out of beta, even on larger turbos. We will see!

First impression, car is running slightly smoother than it did with BEF while driving casually. But there is a noticeable difference in power during WOT in favor of the JB4 BEF.

I will see where I can get with a custom tune or the E30 OTS once released for now but will probably go back to JB4 BEF at some point
Your logs show you used the stg2 map, not stg2+. Power can be the same with or without jb4, it's a function of the tune aggressiveness.

OTS maps are, at least for now, for stock turbo.

Did you run map 5 or 7 with the JB4?

JB4 log was on Map 7 using N20 TMAP, so Boost Target was 20 PSI

Let's say I flash MHD stage 2 (means I own stage 0 and stage 1 - along with variations)

So now, what map do I put Jb4 in? (assuming I download BEF map from MBS)
Which takes precedence?

Do not Flash an MHD OTS map to you car while the JB4 is still installed. The MHD OTS maps are not meant for use with the JB4. If you want to run the MHD OTS flash only maps, you need to completely remove the JB4 from the car.

As there is no bypass mode and it still manipulates load and etc. and it will cause poor performance of the MHD OTS flash.

did you still have the JB4 connected to the car while running the MHD OTS? and that looks like stage 2, not 2+.

No, I fully removed JB4 before loading any MHD OTS maps. Just checked the log and confirmed it was Stg2+

Yeah that's mine, and yeah stock turbo. That was an earlier map and firmware running JB4 in MAP2.

Doing map7 again now, targeting 20PSI boost.

I'm also running the E85 BEF on Map 7. It runs like a champ.

I've been sending logs to Terry to help add to the data pool

Do you have the N20 TMAP also?

Yeah same here, probably like 200 emails and test files etc. Prob have sent like 200 logs total lol

Some of the changes he made I had issues with, like the spool mode map. But he turned it back on and is good again.

Terry is on top of it.

I don't, but I need to order it and BMS adapter this weekend. My TMAP is going bad.

Do you guys run map 7 everyday? Why not map 5?

Is the N20 tmap going to be useful on the stock turbo?

Yeah I run map 7 every day. It's just more consistent for me than map5.

I think Terry is still working on a proper map 5 for BEF.

I always ran map 7 before MHD anyways. My logs were always cleanest with it vs map 5

Yeah, I think it's high resolution. Terry called it an upgrade. Besides, doing Pure S2 some time soon so might as well do it now. About the same price anyways.

I was thinking it would just read higher boost pressures but that it wouldn't really be useful without the ps2. Good to know.

I would order a PS2 except I'm not sure I want to hassle with installing it myself on jack stands and I don't want to pay 50% of the price of the turbo to have someone else put it in. Too lazy and too cheap haha. I'll suck it up and do it eventually.

How many gallons of e85 are you using? Are you mixing with 91 or 93 octane?

I was 100% E85, even in that video.

Terry recently made some AFR changes and my HPFP finally started to tank. So far been good with about 10 gallons E85 and the rest 91 ACN.

No need for MHD here. My setup is dialed in perfect running Map 6 with BMS BEF.
