There probably was some gains to be had with it combined with the AFE box, I currently have a Rev Motor intake boot and I intend to do the carbon filter delete and install an AFE drop in filter next Friday and install the tune and then go back for a dyno to see just how much I'm making FBO, but I also intend to do a Dinan-style mod to the stock box and to my AFE box when I get that gasket that still hasn't arrived in the mail for me yet after a phone call. Those AFE dudes seem to have bad customer service.

Oh, and on a side note my CEL came on today after leaving Bed Bath and Beyond with my son, I thought I wasn't going to get it before the tune arrived. I picked the car up on the 12th so almost 2 whole days lol

uhhhh I don't remember, I don't think it does.

I'm leaning towards the notion that it doesn't come with one from pics I've seen here by members posting pics of them. I can't imagine how loud it is!

It does not, but there is something similar to one inside the muffler.

The PE with no other exhaust changes is virtually as quiet as stock and not a whole lot louder when rev'ed to the limit.

I figured as such if people leave their secondaries and primaries intact. Anywho, here's my cold start clip.

Yeah, even with headers it's not loud enough to cause a problem. And secondaries don't muffle enough to make a difference.

I should note that with headers, no secondaries, and a true race exhaust (1 stage Burns muffler) cold start sounds like explosions, _cannot_ start the car with the garage door up and there's an open nature park behind us across the alley.

Lol! I made the video as soon as I got back from dropping my daughter off at Japanese school. The noise level is "race" according to Eisenmann. Even so, it's a combo that isn't on the boards.

No, that's not even remotely close to "race", at all. At that distance you'd lose some hearing almost instantly during a cold start. And there's no way in hell to record it, level is wayyyy too high. But it sounds sweet, can't argue with that. fersure.

For sure. Been to plenty of events with real race cars. A C7R makes my ears bleed but it sounds soooooo good!

Got a chance once to get on the pit road at a NASA Vette race and it figgin hurt! In a good way.

And honestly never thought the little I6s in these cars could produce a 'race' exhaust all that loud. Surprise...
