is my head gasket blown?
i have small white looking gunk in my expansion tank and slightly low on coolant. my oil cap is clean and car is not acting up, is it something i should be seriously worried about?
my car has 62k miles |

Have you ever used tap water? Tap water will form white deposits in your cooling system. Also, have you ever changed the coolant? If not, then now is the time.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

this is the second time im checking the coolant on this car. i only put 4000 miles on it since i got it. i dont have warranty. is coolant change hard? can i do it at my house?

yes...some can as coolant flows through there and when you remove it there is residual oil which will run into the coolant ports...but it should be a very small amount and should have been properly cleaned up during and after the repairs..
