Drive by wire throttle input lag

Do any of the tunes address the 1/3 second or so delay in throttle application?

(To see what I mean, just put the car in neutral, and *quickly* smack the throttle petal and let it rebound. You'll notice that the petal returns completely back to rest before the RPM needle even budges. At which point the RPM will jump and fall back down to idle. The throttle is simply late compared to the petal.)

It's something that I don't have to deal with in my crappy old honda (mechanical throttle)... so I'd think BMW wouldn't have this kind of issue.

I think that this issue is worse with Autos.
My manual seems to be working fine.

I have a MT.

For the longest time I thought it was a momentary turbo lag... but one day just sitting at a light I got bored and started tapping the accelerator. To my surprise, the engine was responding way the hell later.

Not just slow pre-spool (lag) response, but ZERO response altogether, and then it would respond after the petal had already returned to rest.

So far I am just preemptively applying throttle. But IMHO it shouldn't be like this.

Sprint booster just re-scales the throttle signal voltage. It doesn't make the ECU react to that voltage any sooner.
