Did you count that the oem unit is a dual pass core and not single so it actually has a divider in the middle with no flow?

For those wondering, here's a few pics of our 5" prototype. Just waiting for the intercooler to arrive at the shop so we can test fit it on the shop car and give the ok for mass production!

I'll work on some better pictures as soon as this bad boy is in hand!
Cant wait for the 5inch version. I dont think I really need the 7inch core. Nore do I want to cut that much off the front support.

was thinking of buying a 5in this month.. but think I will wait for this 5in kit to come out.

You don't actually cut any of the support out. All that requires trimming is about 1.5-2" of the plastic shroud. This part has no structural importance

Thats good to hear. I just dont think I need a 7in core. I am just running jb4, downpipes, DCI and possibly meth in the future. I cant imagine any benifit for me to run the 7in core.

I had planned to grab the ETS or AMS 5in kit this month. But at this price I think I will just wait on your 5in kit. Hopefully the 5in kit will be available in the next 90 days or less.

BTW.. the 7in kit looks very promising so far. Seems like an amazing price for what ya get.

FYI the AMS is 6" and requires trimming as well

The 5" will definitely be available for sale in the next 90 days!

Shoot us an email. If the stencil is ready we can slap em on but there are no guarantees right now?

If there was anything that could be done to speed up delivery, I'd have exhausted the option by now

Less concerned with the trimming.. and more with the benifit the 7 would have for me over the 5... considering my mods.

Whats your best guess on when they will be available? 30 days, 60 days or closer to 90 days?

I hear ya, but generally the pros of lower IAT's outweigh the marginally increased pressure loss. The best example I have is FMIC comparison we did with our 3.5" FMIC vs a competitors 3.5" FMIC on a different platform and although we had .3 psi more pressure drop, we made 27WHP more due to cooler IAT's and a more efficient core.

I'd say closer to 60 than 90.

Tiago, what would be the best way to contact you? I have sent you a PM, or should I try via email? Thanks
