Pictures aren't great for starters, and you need more of them.
Generally more detailed description as well.

Agree with Will, much more detail of spec, more hi res photos, try and sell it, don't just advertise it.
Maybe spend £19 and get it on Autotrader? And don't photograph it along side other cars, it's not a good look IMO. Does it have an MOT, you don't mention? See Don's ad, that's how to do it http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=403629 Last edited by creepy coupe; 07-01-2010 at 04:38 AM.. |

What the others said plus the fact the people are shying away from 'in-efficient' cars in the higher tax band. I'm not saying there isn't still a market for these cars but it's certainly shrinking given the past 18 months economic problems and future predictions for fuel, etc.
Improve your advert as suggested and unfortunately you just need to be patient (unless you really drop the price). A detailed breakdown of it's servicing history always looks good in my opinion. Feel free to crib some of this advert from when I recently sold my 'beloved' RX8 I'm not saying it's the best advert ever but at least it worked.

Exactly the same car as yours, colour wise/wheels etc but obviously the diesel. I saw loads of adverts and generally i would expect some better high res pics from all angles including the interior. This is from a buyer perspective wanting to spend 20k on a car. A better worded description too. I guess i'm like quite a few buyers. Initially i wanted petrol but the 335i is double the amount to tax compared to the diesel and drinks a lot more. This put me off as an on-going running cost. Of course i looked at the offset as i could get the i cheaper. The 335d i got was an 07 on similar miles but also had bmw hifi, bluetooth, heated seats and privacy glass and was fully MOT-d, serviced and had tax for only a grand more than what you are asking. As mentioned the 335i today is in a shrinking market and maybe you need to be more flexible with your pricing if you need a quick sale. As mentioned, your description and defiantly the pics. If you don't need a quick sale, do the last 2 things and wait and you should get someone. |

You should mention the fact thats its the fastest 335i in the world and then say all the standard stuff is extra! hmm where have i seen that before...
Seriously though your probably top end of the price for that age model although your mileage is v low people would rather go to BMW and buy similar car with more miles. It should sell though. Get some decent pics up including an interior one. Good luck mate. |

Bad pics, and to be honest the price is high IMO.
High res pics and £18.5k ono and I reckon you'll get some interest. Controversial, but change the sellers name in the ad to 'Reg'... Good luck with the sale anyway!
