Need Bump Stops Taller than E46 M3 For XI

I currently have custom TC Kline shocks and I have a very soft ride with the Eibach pro kit. However the E46 m3 bump stops are very short. I would like a bump stop that is beefier and about 1/4 - 1/2 taller and will take more of the hit as the shock is taking to much pounding. I would rather have stiffer front suspension than to have the shocks toast.

Thanks!

Why not just use ordinary e9x ZSP (sport) stops? You've got the extra travel in front so you really don't need the shorter M3 stops like the rest of us running peasant Konis and Eibachs. If they are too long you can trim them without taking the struts off the car.

That's a good idea. Long time how have you been? Do you have a part number by chance?

I'm using (EU-spec, M-Paket):

FRONT: 31336767333
REAR: 33536767335

Should be the same as with the US-spec 335IS (rumors has it, that Dinan ist also using those with their "Supplemental Ride Quality & Handling Kit" D193-9041).

Doing well thanks. Sorry to hear you're busting up those nice custom Konis. Let us know how this works out.

are these taller than the E46 m3 ones that I have? I would like stiffer and at least 1/2 inch taller.

Don't trim the bump stop. They are progressive and if you trim them, you alter the performance characteristics.

Why not get a stiffer spring? I dont even have bump stops on my front suspension.

My car has the zsp bump stops now. It's sitting on them, and has raised the car about 1/4 inch. Not sure if that's good, might go back to old bump stops.

Anyone know what are good bump stops for the rear? I never did these yet and just using stocks that are cut.

Why do you think the shock is "taking a pounding"? They aren't, or at least no worse than they would with any bumpstop in there.

You're hitting/fully compressing the bump stops. If you get longer ones, you'll experience the same thing.

More spring rate, or try more compression dampening.
