What do people who have an aftermarket exhaust do with the stock one? I just had the AE catless exhaust put on and seeing the stock exhaust, which is one big piece, I can't imagine storing it. I don't have a house or anything like that.

Do you guys throw it away? Try to sell it? Save it?

if you can't keep it, try to sell it. I'm keeping mine incase the after market gets too loud for me!

I'd like to keep it, just a question of space. I've heard of some people cutting it into two pieces...

I'm not sure how load it is yet. I'm having the AE exhaust, UR catted DPs and Helix intercooler installed. Already have BMS DCI and JB3 PnP. Unfortunately, they didn't finish getting everything done today, still working on the intercooler. The wait is KILLING me.

Keep it for warranty work. I got rid of mine a year and a half ago and now I have to source some OEM secondary cats so I can get some warranty work done. Dealer in CA won't touch the car unless the emissions are intact. Definitely hold on to it. You'll regret it later if you don't.

we have 3 of them sitting in the back of Adams garage, an e39 M5 and 2 new M3 exhausts hanging around. Quite a collection we're building up.
