I have used him for about 4 exhaust install (all required custom welding and piping) He also built a full custom exhaust for a CLK500 my brother used to own.

His shop is not very impressive, but his work is amazing. He's very anal about his welds and ALWAYS centers the tips perfectly! Price is reasonable as well ($150-$200) for most installs with some cutting and welding.

If you decide to use him, tell Rob with the silver BMW sent you!

I have heard good things about McB autosport but have not had any personal experience with them.

v1 is a good option, most guys that dont track their car that get v2 or v3 dont ever touch the settings anyway, so its just more money for options you wont use, v1's are a great ride for a daily driver and if they go lower then fk coilovers if your looking to slam your car

Flinter is the owner/fabricator.... Ask for him.
Thanks for the advice Twin. I went to see this guy last week and I'm glad to have finally found a knowledgeable exhaust person. I told it it was you who sent me and he said you've been through a few exhaust and the drone was bothering you and you are happy with your new setup, so ya he remembered.

He slapped on those tips in about 45 minutes and knew exactly how to make it work without them sticking out 4 inches like I've seen with some people.

Really good guy overall, takes pride in his work. His name is Mark Flinner, you were close enough, lol.

Thanks again.

One more question, I have a meth kit on order and am having no luck finding pure meth in Pgh, anyone has suggestions.

My driveway, that's the closest I've found to a hand wash in Pittsburgh. Unlike Jersey(which I've spent tons of time in for work) where there is a carwash every 37 feet, Pittsburgh has a lot of those automated washes which do nothing but harm your paint.

Hope you're enjoying Pittsburgh so far. My wife works at PNC and I'm across the bridge next to PNC park.

So anyone with any meth hookups in the Pittsburgh area. Gees, that comment could get a guy in trouble. Racing meth, I can't find anywhere. This city sucks for auto performance.

So I went to the track 3 times last year which was the first time I've ever gone, I saw one other 335 there once.

Track opens in April, wonder if anyone else plans on going to Pittsburgh Raceway this spring/summer. It's a pretty nice track.

Window trim is vinyl, lower grills I had painted and the gloss black kidney grills I ordered from a vendor here. I forget which one, they are all pretty much the same though.

I've been to Pittsburgh Raceway a few times over the past 2 years. Would love to go again, let me know if/when you go.

Sounds good. What are your mods? Best I've run is a 12.4x. That was before my dps and I have a meth kit on order. So hopefully high 11s this year.

I have precede, exhaust and filter. My best was 12.9x with some very bad launches. I don't like to launch my car very much as it seems that's where all the failures happen.

I have about 72,000 miles on my car now, it's in the shop right now getting the differentials and transfer case flushed. I'd like to get my engine cleaned sometime(carbon) as I'm sure it's pretty damn caked after all those miles.

What kind of DP's did you go with and who installed them?

I travel for work and lucky last fall, work took me to philly. So I hooked up with Mike from Vac and they did my dp(AR catless) install, rear m3 sway and m3 subframe bushings.

I have about 43k miles on my car now, a lot of those are highway miles and just purchased a media blaster and a box of walnut shells. I also purchased a bentley manual and when the weather gets nicer, I plan on seeing how my valves look.

I want to change my transfer case fluid this year, I chagned both differential fluids last year.

At the track, I launch at about 2-2.4k rpms and get about 1.75-1.85 60s and the car seems to run like a champ still, cross my fingers.
