I currently put about 7000 miles on a year. The new position may require triple that and I dont want to diminish the value of my car, let alone have clients getting in and out of a lowered BMW.

So maybe something like a Maxima or Camry. Then later on maybe pick up a "cool guy car".

To be honest, that is a legitimate excuse. Small hands are needed to do work like that. That sensor is in a horrible place on the N54 and we were lucky enough to be doing a charge pipe as well so it made the job easier.

I unfortunately wont be moved back to Moon till August 11/12, but if you need any work/help after that, let me know.

No problem man.

And I know what you mean with the lowered BMW. Scraping and going extra slow over bumps is not what clients want out of a ride with a potential business partner or colleague.

The Maxima would be a fine choice. They have a similar BMW interior (even Push to start) and also pack 296hp out of their 3.5L V6.

Shane,

Let me know if you are seriously considering the maxima if/when you pick a new car. One of my good friends is a salesman at Wright, the other is the F&I manager...

Hahah well I wish I had know that sooner.
They tried throwing low book on my car for trade.
Told me they cant find a buyer for it so they dont want to take a chance on giving me what it is really worth.
I told them their salesman must be useless and have no faith in them if they need to place a buyer to a car before they take it in.
Not in real good standings with them at the moment. lol

Any locals here have experience installing and removing the JB4 ? im trying to decide between that and the CoBB . I think I'd be most comfortable with getting a JB4 if I had someone to show me "hands on" how to remove and install it first hand ?

I thought the same thing. And they gave no respect to the newer cars that were incredibly modded, proven by who won the awards.

Can anyone recommend a good shop for installing a catless downpipe? A shop that works on BMWs regularly.

Thanks in advance!
