another m3 rep and msport rear option is good too, just cause your gaining a new rear but I still say Msport front
Here's my dilemma: I like the m3 rep better than the mtech without the lip. I personally think the mtech looks too close to the stock bumper without a lip, but the m3 rep looks much different than stock, irrespective of whether it has a lip. I do think the mtech with a lip looks better than the m3 with a lip though (at least with the current m3 rep lip options.)

My rear (SEE BELOW, OLD PIC BEFORE MIRRORS) is completely stock other than the m3 style rear lip. I think it would look awesome to do the mtech with lip, but it might be a better trade off to get a start on my rear( with a mtech rear)and just do the m3 rep again in the front. There seem to be a few new options coming out for the m3 rep, and if I can start working on my rear, and add a cool new lip to the front later it might be the best option. I think that the m3 rep is a little bubbly in appearance, but if it could be squared off at the bottom with the right lip it would make it look a lot meaner, I think that a lot of people like the mtech better because they think it looks more squared of at the bottom...

Quick question: Why do most of you like the mtech so much better what is the reason? Is it the whole: I think m3 reps are poser thing? Or is it something about the aesthetics? Or is it that you just want to see what the change would look like?

Personally I do like the M3 Front bumper a lot! The Mtech to me is a really sweet setup for those running front mount.

Thanks, I do think the new m3 rep lip, has definite potential, if they would just hurry up with some better pics of it, it would make this decision a lot easier!

Damn that set up above is hot, what exactly does he have rigged? Is that a molded lip plus a carbon fiber splitter beneath it?

definitely m-sport bumper. think it looks better on our cars imo. if you do go m-sport + lip what about painting the top part to color match (grey area on mikesk car) and then leaving the bottom exposed cf so it kind of looks like an additional lip. something you don't really see

Thanks for the input, I do think that grey detail on mikesk's car is a neat custom touch, but I wouldn't personally choose it for my color scheme.

Yea it's definitely different but I wouldn't go grey. I was thinking have it painted red to match your car and leave the bottom left carbon to go with your black scheme. Just an idea. Never really was a fan of most of the lips they have for mtech bumpers but do like psmitty's setup. Sure whatever you go with will look awesome especially once you get an mtech rear

I feel that the rear is very out of place with the rest of the car. An Mtech rear is a must do, it also opens you up to diffuser options. I agree with you that the M3 front (without a lip) gives a slightly round look at the front but a V-style lip will totally change that.

Yeah there's a good chance I will just do the m3 rep again, so that I can use the extra money to get a start on changing my rear up...

Honestly I'm having a dilemma of replacing my LCI m3 rep to a LCI stock bumper. I don't know if thats a approach you would go but I think it'll look good. But at the same time you have a lot of M3 mods on the front so it might be good to keep it as before.
+ i think LCI M3 rep bumpers are the most affordable option when looking for a new LCI bumper.
