Pixel error on the radio...

Its the top line of pixels on the professional radio that has started to fail, every other pixel or so is darker. Anyways, my question is: Now that they will replace the radio they mentioned they had to reprogram it. Does that mean the whole car? As in my remap will be overwritten?
