I am talking about the overall costs. Comprendo? Who buys skirts and installs them unpainted? How about S/H? About a grand for that mod. Let me do the math for you:
570 skirt
300 paint/labor
100 S/H
____
970(exclude some tax)

Wait for LUX, would be just as good, if not better. It's a pity that they decided not to proceed with making them. I guess it's because of all the people (hmm..... GP Thunder loyalists) taking cheap shots at the pricing.......

I was a GP Thunder loyalist but only because there were not any other real LED solutions on the market during their announcement. After seeing the crap that is RD I'm convinced that a proper solution will cost $$$ which is perfectly acceptable to me.

M-Force has fell of the face of the earth too.

Lesson learned for the PIAA, RD and GP thunder loyalists.

I guess a lot of people had seen how's the RD look like now. I can't believe some of you had paid $200 for something you cannot see in the day time. It's just a waste of your money. Sooner or later when the LUX or DD LED hit the market you guys will have to spend more $$$ to buy the new one.

I've spent more than $400 on dumber car parts. It's really not that unreasonable if its the only kit you can see in the daytime.

I paid 1/2 off for the RD's and i'm (kinda) happy with them. Does DD sell the HID H8 kit for the Angel's??? I never saw that pic before. I know some kid in south Florida sells the HID H8 Angels but i'm not sure how reputable it is.

They're not going to make it after all...too many ppl complains about the price

even there're ppl that really want it, there won't be enough of them to justify the cost of making a small batch.

Not a surprise. Three SSC P7 C-BIN led emitters is a bit too much for any heatsink/design to handle. I bet they ran into some problems in the final stages.

Things like these people have tried already... And it's not as easy done as it looks.

They need 3 SSC P7 C-Bin emitters, that's a total of 80$ already, just for the emitters. And if the heatsink is not properly made and the emitter overheats, it will slowly decay due to improper heat-dissipation.

Well, with the experience of Lux for E90, hopefully Marc will be able to come up with something soon for us.
