DME pin that controls the exhaust flap

Does anyone (eventually shiv) knows witch pin of the ECU controls the solenoid valve that opens or close the exhaust flap via the vacuum pipe?

I would control manually the flap so I should intercept this signal to route it to a switch.
It is impractical to connect directly to the solenoid wire in the trunk so I find it better to intercept the signal on the ecu connector...

Read the manual please, just do it before asking!

It would be great if the Procede could control this! I would love to change the sound by a blip on a button!

Never thought of tracing it back to the ecu. Let us know how it goes.

Many thanks RiXst3r

I will intercept this wire, route to a 3 position switch: open, closed, DME controlled,

but when in open position I think I will have to put a load on the ECU pin to avoid any code.... BTW is this important? can I live with the flap error code? I am out of warranty now

The whole point of this is to have a switch to control the valve. It's been discussed before, but as far as I know nobody's done it yet.

whats the point of controlling the valve? just leave it off. With stock exhaust it makes barely any difference anyways.

Reminds me of the tunable exhaust switch on the older Mitsubishi 3000GTs.

I cant wait to see if it works. I've had this in the back of my mind for a long time.

To the guys who say this makes no difference:
I say; it does to me. I notice it.
It's been discussed back and forth at long length here:
