Dark purple liquid on the floor
Guess its time for me to have an issue Lol. Got home kept the car in the driveway walked in the garage to find 6 perfectly round dark purple drops on the garage floor. All the size of a quarter. The location is towards the very front of the car about right in the center of the block perhaps a hint towards passenger side straight down. It\'s a think purple watery substance with an oily residue. It\'s not brake fluid and not coolant. I searched and all I come up with is endless \"royal purple\" threads lol. I really believe its to far forward to be the mechatronics sleeve or whatever it\'s called. I\'ll get it up on a lift ASAP, was just curious if any of you guys had a similar situation before. Thanks

I capped off the turn signal fluid a cpl months ago and the seal was fine. Same with the oil filter housing gasket was replaced cpl months back. I myself have never put any royal purple product in before not saying the previous owner couldn't have. I might be a tard but I couldn't find the PS cap. Only coolant and brake. It's just a strange spot the skid plate should of caught where it's equivalent on the floor should be. I'm going now to put it up on the lift and see what I can find.

Verdict is in from dealer, done and picked up.
"Verified concern, Found hydraulic bushing on front left to be leaking fluid onto the floor. Front hydraulic bushings come in a set, Replaced front hydraulic bushings" PN 31-12-0-393-540 So the front leading arm was leaking. Whatever no one cares anyways. lol...till the next thread |
