Looking forward to dyno. Haven't seen anyone post gains or reviews yet, and I want to see if these are actually worth it.

Congrats on the headers. You will love how much they kick you in the ass. Best mod I had done so far. Can't wait to here what you think.

I know MMW has a huge rep but what makes these different then $200 headers? Just wondering, these are on my list but I would like to know what makes them so special. And around how much would I be looking at for these?

These actually fit the n52 without having to cut a chunk out of your motor mounts.

You'll have to contact Gavin for an idea on price.

only took like a year but it came to life...I just bought some OEM manifolds today to turn into some catless ceramic headers. They haven't shipped yet, but I will race you guys to the dyno. Let's see who will get it done first.....

For sure. Trying to work out the details with the dyno shop. $75 a pop x 3 trips to the dyno...hoping he will cut me a break.

1. Baseline
2. Headers
3. Exhaust work

No, never wanted them. I have the AA tune with rear cats turned off.

Be careful. DJapex had this tune with his cats turned off but still got the CEL. I have read that reversing the CEL from cat failure is very hard. I would just get a bms downpipe fix as it is the only solution that has been proven to work consistently.

Sorry not try to tread jack.

No issues with the cops, they don't mess with me, knock on wood. It's really loud when I open It up, but I don't open it up all the time. Love the exhaust, sounds like a race car and couldn't be happier.

Also everyone that has heard my exhaust loves it, they like how it sounds and everyone things its not a 328i. Lol

One thing about the headers I can't keep my foot out of it on the freeway. Makes the car a whole different animal.

We can use down pipes on a 328? I need to learn about this. You have a link?

Sure you can use downpipes, right after you execute an N54 swap.

This piece is just a fix for N54 guys running catless downpipes. It tricks the system into thinking everything is normal with the oxygen sensors. Should work on our cars but consult BMS. I know the same concept won't work on the N55 for some reason.

FWIW, I predict 12whp peak and +20whp above 6000rpm once these are on the dyno.

It looks like the OEM manifold without cats will be more efficient:
