Non-ED Ordering Questions

First off, forgive me for dumb questions as I am interested in ordering a car. Does the dealer hold firm in terms of msrp on domestic car oredring/deliveries or can it be as easy as approaching them with the custom list and then following up with the "$500 over invoice" pitch. I am returning customer looking for an obscure wagon with zsp/prem etc.

What is your experienced based opinion on this?
Thanks!

I recently ordered a coupe for US delivery, and I approached the local dealers in the same way as you would an ED, working up from invoice.

You most likely won't get as good a discount as an identical ED, since ED's in this case do not come out of dealer allocation, but you should still get a decent price proportional with effort.
