Crappy Weather + ignition Coils

Anyone else go through a bunch of ignition coils this winter?

2 cracked over the winter and the car just went in for service this morning for another one.

At least the SA said they will replace all of them this time.

Annoying since the factory warranty is up in october.

One of my imploded as well. Has to be one of the worst things to break. Misfires are never good times

I just did all 6 plugs, injectors, coils. Walnut blast and water pump/thermo. lp fuel pump. All on my dime because I was a 4 months over my warranty.

I just had all new plugs and 3 coils replaced.

It was only two injectors that were faulty. But I'm OCD and I don't want to patch it up and have to deal with it again.

I had my friend help me out who's a BMW tech. He got the parts at a discount.

It was about $2400 in parts I think.
Would've been way more without his help.

I'm about to put my car up for sale. So the new owner will have a peace of mind of buying a used 335.

I sent my old injectors out to get refurb and flow tested. I have a few for sale if you guys need them.
