Awesome, cant wait. But it would be great if it could remember the autotuned settings when the map is switched.

That is very easy to do. But the concern is that someone will forget that one map was autotuned to run race gas, forget about that, and swap back to it when running pump gas. So that's where the idea of resetting learning at mapswitch comes into play.

Besides the idea is to not change maps in the first place. With autotuning, 95% of the people, 100% of the time, simply don't need to. And if you do, try to set your initial boost/ignition correction settings similar to what you typically see when autotuned.

That's true. But if this feature is implemented, a lot of us will be changing maps more often. Once we get to that point, could you do a quick step by step for manually setting baseline map numbers to match the numbers we have after autotuning?

Easy. Just look at debug byte 2 and debug byte 5. As their "units" label indicates, they represent autotuned boost and autotuned ignition correction. All you have to do is input that info into the user adjustable menu as initial/starting values

Sweet, thanks! I'm assuming I get those values by doing a WOT third gear pull while datalogging, right?

And autotuned ignition correction and boost are the only two values to be concerned about?

Yeah, maybe we don't change maps 95% of us not to lose autotune data, but then valet is useless! As will be natural aspired mode later...

This would be great since i only get about 14mpg in my car lol

I do mostly short distance local driving during the week (under 10mins each time) and when i do get to enjoy the car during the weekends it gets its fair share of WOT runs.

Calvin and Shiv is it possible to develop a security ''kill'(Designed to make the car inoperable) option through procede menu? Giac i think, has allready done something like this with Giac flashloader software switcher. http://www.giacusa.com/flashloader_handheld.php

I am sure this would be a piece of cake for you guys...!!!
But also very important option for our security.

Once this gets implemented, I'm switching camps for sure.

Thought you were switching camps after driving mine I have to admit my MPG went down since going with the PROcede, only because of the sheer joy the acceleration puts on my face. I think going with this would force me to save some gas. I'm with the others and having this as a Map 0 vs. a Valet mode.

This would deff convince me to buy a procede sooner, I get crappy mpg.

I do mainly city driving, obc reads avg speed 22mph and mpg at 17.

But thats UK gallons (4.5l) so I think thats pretty bad even compared to some of you guys in the states.

Everyday, I have to go six stories down a spiral parking deck to get out of my apartment complex and then I drive 0.5 miles to get to my destination and then another parking deck there so that's mainly why my gas mileage suffers (1st and 2nd gear mostly). Most of my other driving is on local roads - not too much highway driving.

Dang man, just walk it. Its a healthy habit anyway,(for both of yous) and all the stop and go is just clogging your engine with carbon build up. kinda sedentary life style for the car that will eventually result in heart problems.

I sometimes walk it when the weather is nice but sometimes the convenience of driving takes precedence. A habit of hitting the snooze button too many times and waking up late is also not conducive to a leisurely walk to my destination in the morning. Also, I often have research work late and I live in a sketchy part of Atlanta so I wouldn't want to walk back in the middle of the night. I do give the car a good work-out almost every evening though.

Let's just say I take the long way sometimes just until the oil warms up so I can have some fun. About the iTrader... I'm very indecisive and I often buy things impulsively and then sell them later. Buy some of my stuff.
