Hi Guys,

I noticed the M Sport arrival was mentioned in another thread... I didn't want to take that thread off topic so I started this one...

Has anyone heard officially that the M Sport will be available this September?

I know the M Sport body kit is available as a dealer fitted accessory but I want all the other goodies that come with the ‘real’ M Sport (short shift M gear stick, anthracite headlining, M steering wheel, carbon look trim etc).

If it is available, what’s the cost?

OK, there has been no official word but i'd bet the house it will be available by the end of the year, especially since the sports kit has been added to the accessories list.
I would expect the cost of the M sport kit to be the same as it was previously, i.e. how much it costs as an option on the E90 sedans.
However i do believe the carbon look leather trim to only be available on M division cars.

I had a chat with my dealer contact and he said the M-Sports kit is official in a week or so, and it will be in production from September for Australia.

I was also told that it would cost $2600(cheaper then previous 3 series m-kits, $4500) and if you want the 19inch M-sport rims its a $1500 option.

OK, keeping this thread up to date...

I was at my local dealership today and was told that the M Sport starts production this September (for November delivery). I was dissapointed to hear that I cant buy a Space Grey e92 335 M Sport - closest colour is Sparkling Graphite.

Although he did tell me the new M3 comes in Space Grey as a no cost option. That's it - decision made - I will pay an extra $50K just for that colour
