Good stuff..but dang this shipping prices are high and that is before duties and taxes.

I would also try shopping locally as well to see if you can get a similar deal after all the shipping/duties cost. Maranello (sp?) BMW are suppposed to have great deals as well. Check the maxbimmer site and you can get good deals by just being a member there.

Having the items shipped to a receiver near the border and picking them up yourself is still the cheapest way to go!

Well, every USPS package I have gotten from the US has had no brokerage fees attached to it, ever.

Stop by your local Canada Post office and confirm, but I do not think you have to. Just search on the web for people pissed @ UPS and their "services".....USPS is always the option everybody wants.

I just received something shipped by USPS and there were no brokerage fees. In fact everything I've ever had shipped by USPS did not have any sort of brokerage fees or taxes of any kind.

I too have had no brokerage experience with USPS but you do have to pay taxes when picking up the item at the post office.

If you have to pay taxes and duty then USPS/Canada Post will charge you $5 brokerage/handling fee to broker the package through customs. If no taxes or duties are applicable then there won't be any brokerage fees.

Evan @ Tischer is the man!

I still remember those days of my E90 335i. E90 was still so brand new. BMW stealerships wanted $4000 for a /M tech kit in 2007. Evan hooked it up for me for $1200 USD + 200 shipping (around the lines of that price, I actually forgot). Blacklines were 575 CAD + Tax while I got it from Evan less then half price of what dealerships are asking.

Evan also gave me a whole bunch of M3 SUSPENSION bits component part numbers just right after the first batch of M3 did come out from the factory.

He has done great things for me that it is hard to believe that I haven't gotten anything from him since then.

Evan.. Do you ship to Hong Kong??

I still have a BMW E90 Now looking to mod some stuff.

Jon

No, it would be the 12% HST for us in BC.
