Options for boot lid / trunk lid
Hi,
I wonder what options are there on E90 Saloon for boot lid / trunk lid? I have seen an E90 on which everything works fine. Only problem was that I was able to open trunk lid when car was locked, thought it led to alarm activated. Would that be rear bootlid locking mechanism problem? Or is that something to do with coding? Many thanks.

According to that person, it was fully functional couple of months ago.

This guy changed the actuator and still the same.
Car locks but trunk can be opened when car is locked (though it sets off the alarm).

Check the switch on the driver side. Mine kept opening while I was driving and sometimes opens after locking the car. So I had to keep the safety lock inside the glove on. One day I decided to change the switch on the drivers side and everything was fine after that.
