Project: Wrapping my car Matte White

Hey everyone I just ordered the film to wrap my car matte white. I should be getting it sometime mid next week. Does anyone know of any good techniques that might help me out? I have done my roof before and the side mirror covers. Also I have enough wrap for two cars hopefully I wont mess up and end up using it all, so when I am done, the rest could be for you guys if you would want to wrap your car as well.

Would I have to remove any parts on the car?

What parts would need to be removed? I heard that leaving the bumpers on makes it easier to install.

Im actually looking for someone just like you. I am in north hollywood. if you can google, im near vanowen and coldwater canyon in 91605. let me know if you are down to come by and hopefully we can start it together. If you chip in some for the vinyl, I paid 415 for 2 cars, we can also wrap your car.

3m is extremely easy to work with. Start from the middle and work your way outward. Use a low friction squeegee too since it can scratch easily. The trunk and front bumpers are two pieces or more, just do the stitching technique.

I believe mirror caps, front and rear bumper, handles, side skirts(?), exterior trim pieces (?), and side markers and roundels. That's all I think?

It really is. You can read up all you want about how to please a woman, you can look at all the diagrams in the world, but just like the clitoris, you won't know what the hell an apex is before you actually find it.

i just did the same wrap. I had 3m matte white vinyl. 50 x 5 ft was enough but I cut way to short on the door and had to order another set to finish the trunk. Hardest part was removing the door handles for the lci and wrapping the front bumper.

New project Matte Silver

So I had purchased matte white off eBay and long story short it was shit. Didn't work out. I decided to do matte silver instead and this time I made sure to get 3M. Lets see how this will work out.

If you wrap your car a different color than the paint will it affect your insurance at all? Say if you get pulled over and your papers don't match your car

dont think so bockerom. Unless you paint the car, you dont have to change any of the papers for it.at least in cali.
