Does 3M tape work well for spoilers?

I just purchased a CF lip and I am skeptical about mounting it on with 3M tape. Will it work with it? Is it strong enough? Please reply. Thanks.

So long as you do the surface prep correctly it's incredibly strong and won't be coming off.

That's what it's made for.

Extremely well. Make sure you use a de-waxing product on the area you are going to apply the spoiler. This ensures maximum contact between the tape and car surface without the slippery wax.

You can remove the spoiler if it is taped down, but it is very hard to, especially if you use alot of tape. Hope this helps.

Beta link is NOT prep stuff. It is like ultra glue. It will work but your spoiler will be on there forever.

You quoted someone that said "get the prep stuff before using the 3m tape" as in beta link is a cleaner used before attatched. That's how I understood it.
