I got one from eBay a while back. When off the car it's not quite as sturdy as OEM but everything lines up fine and it does the job. Can't really tell the difference when its on the car.

I got the big front one under the engine. The rest were OEM. It fit just fine though I'd recommend not tightening any of the screws all the way until they're all in so you can adjust it a bit.

I got an aftermarket front belly pan as well. Lined up fine. There's a good deal of play available with the mounting holes in most of those undercarriage pieces anyway.
Only noticeable different was the material. The original was a glass-fiber infused PE or PP -- pretty nice stuff. The aftermarket one I got was just cheap plastic. Still covered everything up. Not as rigid, and I imagine probably won't wear as well. But it was a third the price of the original, so I guess if it wears less than three times faster I come out ahead? |

One of the issues i had w aftermarket bp is that it started to droop after months of use. During oil change the trajectory would hit the plastic and make a mess. So had to take the junk off. Wonder what slinky and other experience...and a link would be good

That's true, that happened to me as well -- but I feel like it *also* hit the OE belly pan, and I've always had to work around that problem. It's been so long since I've had the OE cover, though, that I'm not sure. Did you not have that issue with the original?

Not at all. I should have just kept my oem pan even tho it was slightly cracked from misuse by my turbo installer. I saw these cheap aftermarket ones that the installer reimbursed. Didnt know they were that bad esp with the flex.

$50 off of amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Evan-Fischer-...r=1-1-fkmrnull Fits perfectly and works fine, gonna take a beating so no reason to get it from BMW for $300, in fact right after I bought it I ran over some large chunk of road debris and cracked a little chunk out of it, noworries only $50 to replace if I wanted to.

Yup I got two from eBay recently. Fitment is about 9/10, not perfect. The material is also a bit cheaper feeling than OEM.
One of them was almost exactly like OE in the material though but I sold it as it didn't fit my M-Sport bumper. I'd buy it again if I had to, especially at 1/3rd the cost of an OEM one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-BM12281...lcD9:rk:1:pf:0
