Hello everyone I have a 2008 bmw 328i I am wanting to do a engine swap and looking to do like a ls1 or ls3 or a ls9 what do y’all think or could it even be done if so what all would I really need beside upgrading the support and suspension and turning it into a all wheel drive and changing it to a 6 speed manual transmission. I know I will need a wiring harness and different motor mounts and etc but motor or transmission work is mainly what I will need help with and maybe the body. Like would I need to cut anything out or add something so if anyone could help I would really appreciate it thank you in advance. Bimmer E90 all the way.

That swap is WAY above your head. Start with a Miata, MGB, jeep, etc.

Loved that Thread. The dude not only had balls to drop a small block into an E90, but he turbo'd it too.
