2007 328xi - Cannot reset front brake pad sensor

I've got a 2007 328xi and just replaced all the brakes including both pad wear sensors. The front will not reset. I have even tried jumpering the two wires together and the light will still not reset.

Could there be a wiring issue further upstream?

Can the brake pad sensors be coded out with a tool like BimmerGeeks?

I've tried the reset via the dash/BC and it won't take.

Thanks,

The sensors are mind-bogglingly cheaply manufactured.

I've gotten ones that were defective right out of the box. Of course if you're shorting the wires that should eliminate the problem.

If I recall there are 2 circuits with three wires. Are you shorting the correct pins?
