What is the latest Pre-Lci Nav Version Out

I searched but I am a bit confused.

Q: What is the latest version for Pre-LCI?

I'm pretty sure NAV version doesn't matter if LCI or not. I have the 09 discs on my 06 and my dad's 04 5 series and both work. Obviously you don't get all of the functions as you would with an LCI I-Drive, but it works with whatever equipment your car has. I believe.
