Alekshop Multimedia Interface

Hey Guys,

Wondering if someone could perhaps help me out, I have a Manual 06 325i E90 with Pro Nav and Logic 7.

I recently bought the Alekshop Multimedia interface for my car but cant get the display correct. The programming is set to E60 and Old Idrive and on the actual unit the dip switches are set for 8.8" Display and RGB Off.

What happens is in PIP mode, The standard idrive has shifted over to the right. So instead of seeing the Nav Map on the right like you see the middle of the idrive screen. The screen also fades to black (black light turns off) every couple of seconds and constantly does this. When you switch to full screen mode everything seems to work okay. So im guessing its just the processing of the Idrive signal thats not working properly. A friend has an E60 M5 and his is working properly. We haven't tried swapping units just yet, But will try this soon.

Anybody have any ideas ?

Hey Guys, Just wanted to update you on the status. Ive swapped the modules to an E60M5 which has the same module and it works in there fine, So I definitely know its not the module.
