Pretty cools, this should of been offered during the OSS days. Ppl do this to their kitchen cabinets or behind hdtv's.

That's awesome bro! Congrats on getting it!!!

Can you take any video outside in day light? I'm curious to see how bright they are.

So far, these rings look thicker than the current ones that they are selling which is a big plus for me. The ones they are currently selling are so thin that it looks weird and don't appear bright enough with smaller LEDs...

I'm in Cali, so I'm definitely considering sending my lights in for this upgrade!

They're just as bight during the daytime. The LED beads are bigger and thrs why it appears to be thicker. However, the ring size is the same between the LS3 V3 and V3 Spectrum kits. I've had all versions of the LS3 angel eye kits (V1, V2, V3) and this is definitely my favorite kit this far!

Regarding the flickering
"There is no flickering of the lights when you see it in person. There is a scientific explanation to it, but I'm not a scientist. HOWEVER, I am a photographer and through my past experience, I have encountered this issued through my lens. Basically look at a TV or monitor through your camera and you will see this flicker, when you can't see it with your naked eye. The new BMW angels do this too." John Zhang

Looks great! Is it pretty easy to set the color you want for driving?

To each his own and it may not be for everyone. I don't expect that any of us will be driving around town with different colored angel eyes flashing on the car. I have it set at white for daily driving. This gives me the option to choose other colors for car shows, meets, etc!

Thanks for the update.

I wonder how this compares to the OSS version (with the color changing).

All in all, they're similar kits and both are great. I personally chose to get the LS3 for the faster turn around time as they're local to me. I'm also a fan of the wireless remote control setup on the LS3!

When is this available, how much, and the flickering is the refersh rate of the camera vs the LED pulse being out of sync. The LEDs are flashing at 60 or more HZ, that being said your camera is capturing likely at 30hz or frames per second, so when they get out of sync you see what lookes like its flashing.
