1-series and/or X6 @ Philly Auto show (Feb '08)

i checked the philly auto show website and asked my dealership, and i have no evidence and have not heard that either the 1-series or X6 will make it from the Detroit Auto show to the Philly Auto show.

Has anyone heard that either the 1-series or X6 will make it to the Philly Auto show??

from what i heard...the ship that was carrying the first demo 1-series got hit by a 50-ft wave and every car was damaged....Add another 3-4 weeks.

They are both at the Detroit Auto show (currently), and there is not an ocean between Philly and Detroit. What are you talking about??

i'm talking about the demo cars being shipped to the east coast dealers.

From what I've been told, the 1 series, X6, and M3 coupe should be at the auto show. Although I am not 100% on the M3.

1 Series will be at the Philly Auto Show. Not sure about X6 yet.

I'll be there opening day and will post pics. Most likely it will be the coupe car currently at the Washington show (rather than the various cars from Detroit).

MINI Clubman also confirmed to be at the show. Also ZR-1 and GT-R for those who may be interested.

Philly is the most neglected car show by the car manufactuers, but its good because you can actually see the cars, not like at NYC where you can't see anything because of massive crowds. I'm praying the 1 and the M3 are at philly so I can sit next to them and drool for a little bit

maybe i missed it, but on the Philly auto show website they do list the 1-series as being there!! I doubt the X6 or M3 will make it.

I usually go to the black tie event the night before opening in Philly. Its great because its limited to how many people are there, and you can pretty much sit in every car(whos gonna worry about scratches when everyone is in a tux?)

alex, i thought about going to the black tie gala this year, last year i went to NAIAS...but couldn't justify dropping $400 for my fiance and I to go to an auto show. instead i am going to use the 2 free tickets BMWNA mailed me and go early during the week.
