Any luck with any lips that fit to the rep bumper? Iv read this thread...sucks that there still has not been any development for this bumper as far as another carbon lip...hope there's something soon. Mind as well go with the 1M front bumper

It does suck. I asked Modmy3 why there isn't more lip options for the M3 rep and they said their supplier doesn't make them because there isn't enough of a market for the other styles to be cost effective to create. I find that to be surprising and like you, would hope to see an alternative to the v-style.

I found that the M3 replica rear bumpers are molded from OEM M3 rear bumpers. Thus, some are able to fit diffusers made for the OEM M3 rear bumper onto their replica. So I'm still thinking the same logic/process would be the same for the front? Wouldn't it be easier for the replica company to take the OEM counterpart and mold from there vs creating something from scrap?

What's it matter?? Sigh....The topic of this thread is finding alternate lip options for the M3 replica bumper. I am no way questioning the fitment, heck I have the replica and it fits perfectly. I'm simply stating that "if" the replicas are molded from OEM then the OEM lip options are viable options...
but in this case, so far it's a NO. |

The M3 lip contours much more on the sides while our M3 reps are more even throughout. |

Has anyone measured the center mesh area to see if the rep bumpers are the same as the OEM M3 bumpers?
