production status issues
My car has a production # but I cant get any status on owners circle. Cant find any menu for production status. The 800 # says it does not have any production date yet but my dealer says it is scheduled for the week of May 26th. what gives?

Until just before production starts, you may not see it on the web site. Or, you may see the last car that used that production number (they reuse them).

Forget the OC, keep checking on the 800#, much faster and closer to reality. In fact, many times, it'll say no Prod date scheduled and a couple of days later, your car will already be in production.

Also, try talking with a live person at the 800 number. The automated system still says no production date confirmed or whatever, but the actual person can tell me the car is scheduled to start production next week. Of course, the Web site is telling me I have a 2001 330i on order.
