Wow, that's crazy that the market is that bad/busy there.
I was suffering a similar experience trying to buy in London at the tail end of last year, had some horrendous open house viewings, I couldn't even consider buying something in those conditions in the end. Am looking again now and it's died down a little bit, I've been looking for six weeks now and not had to go on an open house viewing once thankfully. |

Just a little update, we've put an offer on a house which we viewed yesterday, the only down side is that it has an open day this Saturday and we won't find out about the outcome of our offer until Monday at the earliest, more than likely Tuesday as its bank holiday on Monday. We were unable to make the open day due to work so they managed to get us in early so we got lucky there, but we were told any offer we make wouldn't be accepted or declined until after the open day, fingers crossed
