Any E cig smokers here

Any of you ex smokers on the electronic cigs?

I have a Cool fire 2 [ grenade] and like the tobacco flavours, not a fan of the fruit liquids etc.

Which one do you have and what liquids do you use?

Yes mate i'm a convert have stopped for 4 months now.

The main piece you want to get right is the clearomiser. The best ones are from Aspire. Check out the Nautilus range. They do a mini version (whats standard really and holds 2ml) and a normal version which holds 5ml!

I have the Aspire premium kit and also an Innokin 134 (monster), both with the nautilus mini and nautilus.

Favourite liquid is Gold & Silver from vapeescape.

From a complete non smoker's opinion............Do you realize how silly these contraptions look as you puff away

Just the way i see the world through my eyes, but who am I to judge? You guys puff away, and i'll continue to smile....

Is the iClear one with the string in the middle for the wick?

Trust me try Aspire Nautilus. I used to have the iClear and the Nautilus smashes that out of the park! It even has adjustable airflow so you can adjust the tightness of the draw.

Adjustable wattage/voltage is great.

Is regular smoking so out of fashion that they had to make it electronic?

No, its because regular smoking causes cancer with the amounts of carcinogens (think thats spelt right) in them. E-Liquid only has nicotine. Plus no smell

A carcinogen is any substance, radionuclide, or radiation that is an agent directly involved in causing cancer. This may be due to the ability to damage the genome or to the disruption of cellular metabolic processes.

Nicotine:
Don’t fall for the hype. Nicotine is a poison, no matter how it is delivered!

E-cigs don’t contain the same type of nicotine you might find in an ordinary tobacco leaf. They contain liquid nicotine, which can be lethal: doctors say a tablespoon of some e-liquids on the market would be enough to kill an adult; half a teaspoon could kill a child.
And the worst part is, you don’t even need to ingest these liquids to end up in hospital. Mere skin contact with concentrated liquid nicotine is enough to cause symptoms of poisoning, such as dizziness, elevated blood pressure and seizures.

Source:... From Here!

True agree with that but no one is gobbing up spoonfuls of liquid nicotine!

There are thousands in a cigerette and one in e liquid. It's the (much) lesser of 2 evils.

I agree we should quit e-cigs too. But anything that cuts down on the harmful chemicals in a cigerette is a positive step in my book.

But it is a good question. There's not been a lot of research/studies so far on e liquids.

Once they become classified as medicines, we can expect the cost of these to rocket.
