This is what I meant when I said reviews... I did research on the few companies out there, not necessarily a BMW dct specific application. There's always going to be happy and unhappy customers but just look at hpf's track record and you can see how much people are willing to trust them to finally bring a single turbo upgrade for the n54 to market.

And of course you have to pay to play, I'm just saying that dct will cost more to play with and even more important that it is uncharted territory at the moment. If I still had my 08 6mt then I'd be seriously considering this or the Vishnu setup.

Most DCT's will slip sooner with less mods vs a conventional single clutch/manual transmission in any application, not just BMW's. Unfortunately this is very common and it's actually due to the engineers designing the clutches to withstand the abuse of a stock setup.

Just because a certain model or make has a DCT that can withstand x% more power doesn't mean the one in your specific car will do the same. Some are overbuilt, most are build to handle the OEM power levels.

While DCT is fantastic and most of us would prefer it as a daily driver, it's generally not the best way to go if you're looking to mod. That doesn't mean you can't mod if you have DCT, just means it's going to be a bit more expensive.

Not the best, if you intend on saving some cash.

But GTR's are killing at the dragstrip with their dual-clutch transmission. Many have spent some cash beefing them up. But they then can handle a great deal of power and hard launches.

Yessir, it just takes some additional work to make it hold

Then again, you can't really compare the GTR's trans to the 335's or the M3's. Different torque thresholds, and a completely different dog all together.

Yeah, lol.

It was also my first taste of the KW suspension. Loved how it felt on the road and the ride height and quality was great. Still going to pick up some sport sway bars for a little extra role control though.

Im really excited to see the Graphs, Im not saying that a single turbo spools faster than a set of smaller twins, I'm just saying that This Single setup spools faster than the stock twins with all the restrictive piping. At least it felt that way. Im excited to see how it looks on paper. I would not be suppressed if the single made more power sooner than the stock setup. If not, then it does not matter... lol, cuz it feels amazing.

Get m3 suspension bits while doing sways. Most cost efficient.

Don't get sport sways. Get m3/uuc.

By the time Gintani finishes my turbo upgrade, maybe HPF will have that car on a dyno.
