BC racing low speed clunk
Hey guys, I recently installed my coilovers but im having a small issue.
When i go over bumps at low speeds (0-20mph), I get a clunking, I checked the bolt in the spindle and the end link bolts, but they're tight, anybody with BC racing coils experience this before? The coils are brand new! Any help is greatly appreciated! |

How big are the bumps? You mean speedbumps? or just any little bump? Im just trying to get more details so others can help.

Just one more follow up as it could be useful. Does the sound seem to come from all the wheeels or is it one in particular? Just curious if its discernible that it's coming from a certain spot.

Yes preload is set, its sort of gone away, I feel like it could be the shitty end links that come with the kit, they're not complete garbage but they are low quality!

37k miles and it was non sport suspension it was fine the day before. I'm thinking it is the sway bar end link as that's what I've been reading everywhere for the clunking noise over bumps

I had the same issue you are describing. For me, the driver side top nut had loosened over time. It was loose to the point where I could turn it with my fingers.
If you don't know what nut I'm referring to, it's the nut that is visible from the engine bay. You will have to remove the strut brace to get to it. |

Similar problem. When I first had my Koni FSDs and Eibach Pro-Kit installed it handled well. I would tap the parking divider/island in my garage. Now my car sits above it with no issues. I also get the clank/clunk noise over speed bumps going slow. Car feels a bit bouncy over bumps/dips. Guessing something is loose. Had it installed at LTMW. Wonder if they can check it out.
