I some more valued input guys.

My B12 Kit has arrived along with new Front/Rear Upper Mount Kit.

The question is whether I should use Powerflex Bushings to refresh my daily driver or do I spend the extra money to buy the Upgraded M3 Front/Rear setup?

Good Question... Personally, I've been looking to do a mix of the two. I've been buying M3 Suspension parts and the Powerflex bushing to replace the bushing the M3 parts don't replace. My E92 also has 100k+ miles on her, so she needs some TLC in that area. I've also been toying with the idea of finding a jumped M3 and taking it's entire rear subframe and diff (hopefully with a LSD) and using it to replace the stock setup in mine now. But I'm not 100% on that yet.

Thanks for the input. Here is what I was initially thinking of doing in terms of M3 parts:

M3 Front Upper/Lower Controk Arm Kit with headlight leveller.

M3 Rear Rod Guides and Upper Link Arms

What additional bushings are you looking at replacing that aren't part of the M3 pits?

That's what I have so far in my part bucket. I'm at the point where it's time to start buying rear end parts, where my dilemma starts.

I'm going to use Powerflex bushing in the front end for the lower control arm (to the frame). Then the rear subframe bushings, and all of the bushings from the rear subframe to the trailing arms and control arms and all that mess.

I would be careful going all Powerflex in the rear, especially sub frame bushings. Your spine may not like it. So take into consideration the level of NVH you're willing to put up with.

I'm personally doing a mix of M3, Powerflex and Whiteline bushings in the rear come spring time.

I'd only use polyurethane where you can't use rubber or a solid mount and never in a control arm as it'll get squeaky in no time.

On a quick side note, I just received my Bilstein B12 kit. I see that you have it as well. how do you like it?

+1. I had bad bad experience with poly control arm bushings. Squeaked like crazy and it was a PITA to take them off and regrease.

In looking at things further, it would seem that Offset is offering the Front and Rear M3 Upgrades at a great value then. in terms of the other bushings not addressed by the M3 bits, I am leaning towards Whiteline it would seem.

I agree, but one thing I've noticed is that since doing the power adders to the car, the subframe bushings have begun degrading even quicker. So as long as I don't overly stiffen the suspension itself, it "should" be livable.

I like it so far. It's a good time saver before I drop the cash on a full coil over kit. It's not too rough but definitely tightens the car up.
