Thread in Jest: What Do Other BMW Drivers Do That Make You Ashamed to Drive a BMW?

Don't take this too seriously. Yes, I know "it's just a car" and we're in the yuppiest of yuppy BMW areas.

Even so, some things I see make me sad inside. I'll lead off with a few:

1.) vanity plates related to your profession (e.g., "PHIL ESQ" or "DAN CPA," both of which I've seen locally and recently)

2.) wearing a bluetooth headset with the convertible top down

3.) V12 badges added on to older 7s and 8s

The usual M badge on a non-M car.

I once saw a black 745Li with roundels on the front of the sideskirts

I have also gotten a lot of 'flexing your man muscle' out of E46 M3 drivers who want to race... No thanks...

I hate it when I see another Bimmer driving like an ass. We have a bad enough reputation as it is, no need to make it worse.

BTW - if I were an Audi driver, I'd hate seeing my fellow Audi owners driving with their rear fogs on all the time. F-ing idiots.

The other day, watched a 30-something dude lay on the horn at a group of pedestrians while trying to turn through a crosswalk. He started yelling at them, even though they were in the right of way, and was just generally being an ass. I'm sure this guy's attitude had nothing to do with the car, but it sure made me think, wow, richie rich with an attitude, that's just who I don't want to be.

Do 26 year olds still qualify for hot young ladies?
