Kalamazoo transplant here.

Yes, the scene is nice out here and there's allot to do and see! The winters are DEFINITELY better than west MI

The drivers are pretty bad though, they drive really slow, especially when it rains.

Nice! Great to hear feedback form a local. I'm very excited to come and see what it's like. We just had our first snow fall last night. Got almost 2 inches it looks like.. I can deal with weather and drivers over there..

Just so you know: traffic southbound I405 mornings from Bothell to Bellevue/Redmond, and northbound I405 Renton to Bellevue suck. Opposite in afternoon: check http://www.wsdot.com/traffic/seattle/default.aspx, and the archived maps.
