This problem is SO common. Don't even get me started on how much work and time the stupid blower motor caused me. I had this high pitched whine when turning sometimes. I took the brakes apart several times, thought there might be wheel bearing issues, etc, until one day I noticed it didn't happen when the HVAC fan was off. Guess what? It was the stupid bearings in that blower motor, going around a corner would put more stress on the bearings and cause the whine/squeal. Replaced the fan and no noise since. My friend's 2011 E91 I'm servicing this week had the exact same issue.

In the never ending battle against cloudy headlights and fog-lights, I bought the Cerakote Headlight Restoration Kit. I had to make the choice between washing the car or doing the headlights and I chose the headlights this morning. It took an hour, was much easier than the other kits I've tried and was only $20. Remember the good old days when you could buy OEM lenses for the E46 Prefacelift for $75 and be done with it?

I'm only dipping the brackets, the front calipers are aluminum they'd dissolve like alka-seltzer. I haven't got around to the rear calipers yet but if I don't replace them I'll take them apart and only dip the iron part then put new boot and seal in it.

Gave her a bath yesterday afternoon, I always love the glassy smooth feel afterwards. Next up the semi annual full detail over the three day weekend in May.

Didn’t drive neither of my BMWs. Instead took my girlfriend Lexus. That’s what I did to my cars and I’m sure it made them sad.

my rear wiper stuck vertically yesterday.
remove spindle, put in press, giver a 40 caliber bore brush in a drill for a time with a bunch of solvent, pack with schmoo liberally, reinstall. now I don't even hear the motor running when it wipes. so I guess it's needed fixed since i've owned the car. |

Yeah roughly, I didn't care since I bought it on a whim. It works great for windshield glare though.
