Unhappy 2007 335i rod bearings failure ???

hey I have a engine noise when I accelerate pass 2500 rpm. So, I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the rod bearings. I was wondering does anyone know how to replace the rod bearing at a good price or know of a good place to take it?
-miles on car 80,000
-yellow engine light comes on and says "engine malfunction power reduced"

You can check out European Motor Works in Arcadia. John Handal is one of the most professional mechanics I've worked with. He is recommended by Klaus at CTSC (former BMW engineer) and also by VAC Motorsports.

We're currently in the process of upgrading my N54 335i's cylinder head to the VAC Stage 3 N54 Cylinder Head.

Granny's Garage in Santa Barbara has an awesome reputation. Also, you may try Drew Russell in OC. He's an Indy, but factory trained and master level mechanic.

Thanks guys I'll try them all tomorrow. Hopefully one of them can fix my problem for a good cost.
