I've been doing some more.
Bumpers needed tidied after a prior poor repair, and I gained a carbon addiction.

Front carbon splitter ETA 6 weeks!!
Interior carbon trim ETA 3 weeks... I hate waiting.

Carbon boot looks excellent, is it an ebay special? The fit looks very good! Have you gone with painting all but the edge of the spoiler and then lacquering the whole thing? The all red rear lamps look great too

Bootlid was purchased from M Style, fit is very good. I chose to leave just the number plate recess and the leading edge of the spoiler as exposed carbon. Masked the areas I wanted to remain carbon, wet sanded the rest with 800. Next stage was to go over the recess and the edge with compund and a 2000 pad to to flat the laquer. The recess and leading edge were then masked before paint. After paint we removed the masking tape and hit the lot with fresh laquer. It's come out well, I'm very pleased as it's very subtle and just gives a hint of the carbon.

I bought 18" M3 wheels with challenging offsets, initially I used the trusty crowbar wrapped in a microfibre towel, which in all fairness worked reasonably well. Invested in an arch roller and cracked on again. Piece of piss! If anyone needs a shot just give me a shout.

Only had one slight hiccup - drained the battery listening to my diamond tunes whilst working - a quick boost from the TDV8 and all was good.

I'm rating the look, the CSL fronts were lost in the arches - these are not.

Winter came, my wheel/tyre combo worked, my Bluetooth unit failed.... ,my carbon trim arrived and I bought a marmite bumper (after the deer and partridge pumped the original. Fun times!

Ebay special.
ABS plastic M3 style.
Supplied painted from Bulgaria for just over 200 sheets.
Quality and fit were much better than expected, no idea on the paint match as I only finished fitting it last night and didn't have time to clean the car.. I've had to disable my headlamp washers as the bumper has less girth beside the headlights. I'll look into getting some M3 scooshers.

Could not afford to have the car off the road for the 3 days to get repaired so this seemed the best option.

Aye, genuine 18" M3 wheels. The lights are just tinted originals. Moves it away from the Mitsubishi Charisma look!

The mudflaps are a necessary evil, where I stay the roads are shocking. I can't afford paint every 6 months! The offset of the wheels accentuates the problem as they sit nice and flush.

Is it just film? Saw some done on American e90's but the colour match was crap.

3 coats and lacquer. Flatted as necessary, then a quick buff with the Meguiars G220. Only sprayed the lights that are attached to the bootlid. Colour match is spot on.
