I think they're working on a more agressive setup as he said above

I have something on the way in about 3-4 weeks. Will be about 5-6db louder than the existing exhaust. The race version with a resonator/straight pipes won't be available for at least another 2-3 months. We have to redesign the rear section/test fit and approve the production run so the process can take a while.

So in terms of volume are there any exhausts out now that are good comparison for an idea of what the new version will sound like? What about the race?

The race will be about as loud as HPF which some love, but most think is too loud. The existing one should be about the same volume as the AE. Once it's installed I'll get a decibel meter up and a couple short vids up.

Piping is routed a bit differently, resonator's going to be a different size in an alternate location and they're going to have different mounting solutions.

Did you cut anything for fitment on the E90? It seems flush but I thought it was E92 length (would stick out on sedan)

Only resonator without mufflers on this race version? That's gonna shave some weight off the rear. Are you going to offer single wall ti tips as well?

Keep it up, my man.

There was no cutting at all. The fitment of the tips is quite adjustable. Originally, my installer wanted them sticking out further. The exact location was my personal preference, which is just a few millimeters out from flush. Actually, the protruding line on the bumper is nearly even with the tips, just far enough out so it won't melt.

You will have to remove the the chassis brace for this to fit. The HPF exhaust comes with risers for the exhaust to fit through. I don't think this comes with risers. I wouldn't leave the brace off.

Sign me up!!! Im growing impatient already I wanted to get the current version, but like many others have said, it's too quite for my taste. If I'm going to spend that amount of money for an exhaust, I want the world to hear me coming. As far as pricing, will it be closely to the current version or more?

Im excited to see what VRSF has to offer and already torn between there exhaust options!

Almost pulled trigger on the outgoing exhaust as im sure it will be loud enough but tring to keep up and follow all these post on sound clips really makes it hard ...
