Filled up this week at my local ESSO and noticed that the refurb they'd had done meant they now had 'Supreme' diesel and unleaded.

Quite refreshing to see the no-nonsense posters up for it though. It's got extra detergent so it will keep your engine cleaner. No magical 'extra power' claims.

I'm halfway through a tankful and it's very nice. Engine feels noticeably smoother and quieter at low revs, and MPG seems to be improved too. For £3.50 a tank (same premium as V-Power) I'm happy to stick with it.

FWIW the only reason I don't use V Power is that there aren't any stations within about 20 miles of me that stock it. I used to use it regularly.
