I've seen a couple of white ones knocking about the place. They look great too but I know you're not keen.

At the end of the day, as you're leasing, it doesn't really matter (so long as you can live with it for 24 months), so why not be a little bit bold. Fuck it - estoril & red
Yeap, you know how hard it has for me to finally find the right car to swap the 330d (taken me what 8 months and a few false starts?!) so picking the colour is the last straw !!!

BMW are claiming very quick performance figures. The 328i is also very fast.

Enjoy ticking the boxes.
Cheers budd, yeah i wasnt keen when i saw the first SE/modern (still cant get ast that fake wood) pics. But the M Sport is spot on!

I think in the fresh light of day and no beer - Blue and Black is the right combo

Oh, and you can also spec Brushed Ali interior without that toss 'fait panda' coloured strip!

Not planning to change cars just yet but at that price my next may be a lease. I probably get close to that in yearly depreciation, tyres and servicing.
From what i was told it was almost a on-off deal for the new 330d with a very small allocation. I was lucky and managed to secure a car yesterday....http://www.solentvehicleleasing.co.u...&BusPrc=279.99

oh and an amzing deal on C250 SKL Auto...£240 all in.... http://www.solentvehicleleasing.co.u...&BusPrc=205.47

Christ, thats a cracking deal, thanks for sharing that!
I've printed it out and going to take it down the dealer and see if they can match something similar.

Do you know how much adding the options effects the price? For example, If you add £1000 of options, how much does the monthly payment go up by? Is it as simple as 1000 divided by 24 months, then add that onto the monthly?

Yes pretty much you just take the options price and divide by number of months. However adding zenons, nav, bigger wheels etc must put 3000 or more onto the car price which would up the lease to 450 or more per month. Into M3 money then albeit it with very different running costs!

Did you try the 328 or were you sold on the diesel. Haven't tried either but interested how they compare.

Also interested in the lease deal including your extras and how much was the deposit?
It was just the 330d on the deal. i think the 328i looks fab on paper, but Top Gear prefer the 320d over it

Which is why you have to keep options to a minimum to still get value! Also as mentioned some of the options we being offered at a discounted rate e.g. Xenons for just £5per month.

You actually divide the options over 29 months.

I havent seen any M3's for 450 inc with all the essential options?

agree on the Modern with that fake wood.

The M Sport is far more like a e90 with aluminium inserts

Just had a 5 series for a month with beige leather, everyone says wow, look at that. It does look brilliant.

After just a month though it did start to look a bit "hanging", maybe i've just got a gruby arse though....

There was an M3 deal discussed on here recently for 479/month incl VAT with 19s and metallic. Don't need much more on an M3 as they are well specced as standard. Think it was a 30 month deal.

I had a look at a Youtube video of a 328i trying to make it to 250km/h. Looked a bit lacking in puff to me. I think the 330d has a bit more power, regardless of the published figures being almost identical.

Thought it was close to £550 per month once you added in 12,000 miles and heated seats?

Agree though, epic deal just a shame i dont think i could live with the fuel costs. If i did go petrol the 335i seems the best compromise

Estoril with Coral red. That's what I ordered for my 328i.

I'd avoid estroril on a lease car if they charge for scratches. It's a bitch for showing up the slightest little scratch. Even worse than black.

I'd go for the grey with red. MSport interiors are always a bit depressing in black what with the black roof lining.

Can't see Estoril being too hard to look after as its quite bright, sure it isn't Lemans Blue you are talking about which is pretty hard to keep looking good.

No mate it was a loan while my M3 was in. Just the creases that form under the arse (inevitable) are darker than beige (obviously, because of dirt.) Also i could see some blue on there too, from denim. I did use it for work, and was in and out all day though.

If it were me it would be estoril and coral, why not? You've only got it two years, but i love estoril, and i love coral, so i would say that.

When you chose the interior trim be careful. On the 5 series the door trim, at the open end was right at belt buckle height, and when you were getting out of a tight space then the chance for a scratch was big. Lets just say that the aluminium hex shows up scratches a lot...

With regard to the lease deal i have to say that this is by far the most tempting i've seen. It's the closest (when multiplied out) to what my recent cars have cost me over two years, paying cash. Indeed if i hadn't just bought my M3, i may have done it too.

Also I went for a quick ride in the new 3 the other day, it was sooo nice.

BTW, you mention top gear like the 320d, we'll the 5 i had was a 20d, with the 8 speed auto, i was blown away, simply incredable!!!

Right, have sent the Colour spec in - thanks for all the comments!

Have gone for Estoril Blue and Black interior.

Personally, i just couldn't risk the 'superman' colour scheme....

I almost went beige, but my main issue is its not quite light enough (wanted Oyster) and all the Foot wells and doors are beige too (My preference was just to have the leather insert like in the Oyster/Coral Scheme.).

Why o why o why did they drop Oyster and move to to an individual £1200 option!

If I was to go Coral, I would have gone with Mineral Grey...but just couldn't resist Estoril.

Good point on Trim Danny - but i actually went for Brushed Alu with the black strip (didn't fancy a Blue stripe in the interior). However i now Alu can scrath easily as already have it in the 5er, but will make a nice change from the Alu Hexagons which I currently have.

So in summary, exciting outside , boring inside
The standard colour combo's are pretty limited in the F30 at the mo

Positive. I had a LMB e90 and it was a bitch for scratches. At the same time a friend who was working as a detailer at the time had an Estoril E46 and he was always complaining about how bad it was. It was bad.

Boring (but will still look the nuts ).

Dont think I'd have been brave enough to go blue/red.

Easy enough to go for blue and red interior if you don't have to worry about resale, would be kinda funny to give the lease company a bit of a headache to shift on!!

I think Estorial looks so 1990's.
Sorry I do.

I would go Grey with Red or cream or black with cream.
Black is a bitch to keep clean interior wise, shows all the dust and marks.

I saw a white with cream one the other day, sure it was an M-Sport too, was on a YG12 plate so may have been a BMW UK car, but looked nice.
And that is a combo I had never considered.
